Vegas Loop: Stations, Tickets and How to Ride

9 min readLast updated: October 2026

A ride on the Vegas Loop takes minutes. Finding the station is the hard part. At Fontainebleau it's in the far lane of a rideshare pickup. At SAHARA it's out back, at the Paradise Road entrance. Here's where every Strip station is, what a ride costs and when it runs.

The quick answer

Strip stations: Encore, Resorts World, Fontainebleau and SAHARA. Westgate, the convention center and the airport have stations too. There's none at The Venetian, The Palazzo or Sphere.

Cost: rides between the convention center's stations are free. A single ride to the convention center is $4.75 from Encore, Resorts World or Westgate, $7 from Fontainebleau and $7.50 from SAHARA (as of October 2026).

Hours: set day by day. Resorts World, Fontainebleau, SAHARA and Westgate run 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Encore and the convention center keep convention hours.

Tickets: buy on the operator's site or scan the QR code at the station. Everyone over age 2 needs one.

How the Vegas Loop works

The Vegas Loop is a system of tunnels under Las Vegas, built and run by The Boring Company. You ride in a Tesla, straight to your station with no stops in between. It began carrying convention visitors under the Las Vegas Convention Center in June 2021, per the Las Vegas Review-Journal, and now reaches four Strip resorts, Westgate and the airport, per The Boring Company.

Where the Vegas Loop stations are

Four Strip casinos have a station, and each one is tucked in a different spot. Here's where to find it and what one ride to the convention center costs. Airport prices are further down.

Resorts WorldIn The District, next to Wally’s.$4.75
FontainebleauOn Level V1, in the far lane of the rideshare pickup, reached from the South Lobby escalators or elevators.$7
SAHARAAt the Paradise Road entrance on the back (east) side of the resort, next to the digital marquee.$7.50

Station locations come from each casino's own page: Wynn, Resorts World, Fontainebleau and SAHARA. Prices are single rides for one passenger, from the operator's ticket page, as of October 2026. The casino guides linked in the table cover each casino's layout.

Westgate, just off the Strip, also has a station: $4.75 to the convention center and $12 to the airport. The convention center has five stations of its own (West, Central, Central Plaza, South and Riviera), and the airport has stops at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. What a Vegas Loop ride costs

Prices are set by route, not one flat fare. As of October 2026, the operator's ticket page lists:

  • Between convention center stations: free, as the convention center's own Loop page also says.
  • A single ride to the convention center: $4.75 from Encore, Resorts World or Westgate, $7 from Fontainebleau and $7.50 from SAHARA.
  • A round trip between Resorts World and the convention center’s Central station: $7.50.
  • A day pass: $13.25. It isn't valid for the airport, Fontainebleau or SAHARA.
  • The airport: $12 from Resorts World, Westgate or the convention center’s Central station and $14 from Fontainebleau or SAHARA. There's no airport ride from Encore.

Other trips can be priced differently, so check the price for your route when you book. Some casino pages still show older, lower prices; the operator's ticket page is the one to trust.

Vegas Loop hours

The operator sets the hours day by day, on a calendar on its ticket page. On that calendar, Resorts World, Fontainebleau, SAHARA and Westgate run from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., and so does the airport. The convention center stations and Encore keep convention hours, so they can be closed some days, including weekends.

SAHARA lists its station at 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, plus convention hours, and says the hours can change with the convention schedule. Check the calendar on the day you ride, especially at Encore.

How to ride the Vegas Loop

  1. Check the hours for the day you ride on the operator's ticket page.
  2. Buy your ticket on the operator's site, or scan the QR code at the station. The operator recommends buying ahead. Everyone over age 2 needs a ticket, and rides between the convention center stations are free.
  3. Find your station using the table above. Leave time to walk there from the casino floor.
  4. Scan your ticket when you arrive, and ride. The car takes you straight to your station.

The operator says most riders don't wait at all, with waits of 1 to 3 minutes at peak times. During big conventions, lines have run longer.

Taking the Vegas Loop to the airport

Yes, the Loop goes to the airport, with stops at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, though the operator marks both “limited availability.” Airport rides cost $12 from Resorts World, Westgate or the convention center’s Central station and $14 from Fontainebleau or SAHARA. There's no airport ride from Encore. If you're counting on the Loop for a flight, book ahead and have a rideshare or taxi as your backup.

Vegas Loop vs the free trams and the monorail

Each one covers a different part of the Strip, so the right choice depends on where you're starting.

When the Vegas Loop works best

  • You're staying at Encore, Resorts World, Fontainebleau or SAHARA and heading to the convention center. The ride takes minutes.
  • You're at a convention and moving between halls. Rides between the convention center stations are free.
  • You're flying out from a north Strip resort other than Encore, and you've booked ahead.

When to choose something else

  • You're on the center or south Strip. There's no Loop station there, so walk, take the free trams, or ride the monorail. Our walking guide has times between the casinos.
  • You're going to the Sphere. There's no Loop station at Sphere or The Venetian. See how to get to the Sphere.
  • You're at Encore and need the airport. The operator doesn't sell that ride, so take a rideshare or taxi.
  • You're at SAHARA and want a cheaper ride to the convention center. The monorail stops at both, for $6 a ride at the station or $5.50 online, against $7.50 on the Loop.
  • It's late at night. On the calendar, the stations close by 9 p.m. unless a convention keeps them open later.

Tips for riding the Vegas Loop

  • Check the hours before you go, especially at Encore, whose station keeps convention hours.
  • The day pass has limits. It doesn't cover the airport, Fontainebleau or SAHARA.
  • Bags are fine if they fit in the car. The operator doesn't allow food or open drinks.
  • Need an accessible vehicle? Tell the station attendant. SAHARA's Loop page says the Loop has accessible vehicles.
  • Driving in? Self-parking and valet are free at SAHARA, per its Loop page. Its station is at the Paradise Road entrance: from Las Vegas Boulevard, follow the signs around to Paradise Road.
