About Casino Compass

Who we are & how the maps get made|Last updated: July 2026

A Strip casino is engineered to keep you inside and slightly lost — no windows, no clocks, no straight line from the poker room to the front door. Casino Compass exists to hand you the one thing the building is designed to withhold: a clear way through. Here's who makes that navigation, and how we check it before it ever reaches your phone.

Casino Compass is a free iOS app that maps the inside of 20+ Las Vegas casino properties. Where a general map app stops at the front entrance, we keep going — indoor floor plans, step-by-step directions to a specific restaurant, restroom, or exit, and walking routes from one casino to the next. No account, works offline once you download a property's maps, and it runs on iOS 18.0 or later. If you want the product tour, that lives on the Las Vegas casino map app page. This one is about the work behind it.

Our Mission Is Narrow on Purpose

We don't review buffets, rank pool parties, or grade the odds on a blackjack table. Casino Compass answers one logistical question — the one everyone asks standing on the casino floor: how do I get from where I'm standing to where I need to be? Making a windowless, intentionally-confusing environment navigable is the whole job. Keeping the scope that tight is what lets us get the details right.

How We Research and Verify the Navigation

Navigation only helps if it's right, so every route, walkway, tram line, and parking access point we publish is checked against primary sources before it ships — operator floor plans and property pages, transit-operator schedules, and the real-world layout of the building — not paraphrased from another travel blog's summary. When two sources disagree, we defer to the operator. Three rules keep us honest:

Verify against the source, don't assume. A route that reads plausibly can still be backwards. We confirm the direction, the connecting walkway, and the landmarks in between against the property itself rather than trusting a good-sounding paragraph.

Map only what we can check. The app covers properties we can actually verify, which is why coverage grows deliberately instead of all at once. We'd rather map 20+ casinos correctly than list 40 with routes we can't stand behind.

Correct it when the building changes. Casinos rebrand, close walkways, move tram stops, and gut whole floors. When a property physically changes, the guide changes with it — we fix the affected pages instead of leaving a confidently-wrong route in place.

Why We Never Hard-Code a Price

You'll notice our parking guides tell you who parks free and which valet to pick, but almost never quote a dollar figure. That's deliberate. Strip pricing moves by day of week, rewards tier, length of stay, and what's on the calendar — a championship fight or a citywide convention can reset a garage's rate overnight. A number we hard-code today is wrong by the weekend.

So instead of publishing a figure that quietly goes stale, we explain the structure — who pays, who doesn't, how the charge works — and link you to the operator's live rate. The facts we do commit to are the ones that hold still: where the garage is, which walkway connects two properties, and roughly how long the walk takes. Those are the details worth memorizing, and the ones we stake the app on.

The research lives in your pocket, offline.

Every verified route and floor plan ships inside the app, so you navigate the casino floor without hunting for casino Wi-Fi. Free, no account, 20+ Las Vegas properties mapped.

What Casino Compass Covers

The app and this site work as one system, organized around the questions people actually search on the way to Vegas and once they're on the floor:

Indoor casino guides. How to navigate inside a single property — where the towers, restaurants, sportsbook, and exits sit relative to each other, so you cross the floor once instead of three times.

Casino-to-casino connections. The walking route between two properties — and whether it's a climate-controlled indoor walkway, a free tram, or an open-air bridge — with real times before you step into the heat.

Transportation guides. The trams, the monorail, rideshare pickup points, and the rest of getting around the Strip without renting a car you'll only park.

Parking guides. Where each garage is, which valet backs up on a Friday night, and exactly who parks free — hotel guests, rewards tiers, and Nevada residents.

Who's Behind Casino Compass

Casino Compass is built and maintained by Casino Compass, LLC. We're an independent app maker — not owned by, operated by, or affiliated with any casino, resort operator, or rewards program. That independence is the point: it's why our guides can tell you to skip valet, walk the bridge, and leave the car parked to dodge the exit fee. We don't take a cut of anything you spend inside a casino, so the advice answers to you, not the house.

Found a walkway we've gotten wrong, a tram stop that moved, or a garage rule that changed? Email info@casinocompassapp.com. Corrections from people who were just standing there are one of the ways the maps get better — we read them, verify them against the property, and update the guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is behind Casino Compass?

Casino Compass is built and maintained by Casino Compass, LLC, an independent app maker that isn't owned by or affiliated with any casino, resort operator, or rewards program. You can reach the team at info@casinocompassapp.com.

How does Casino Compass verify its navigation?

Every route, walkway, tram line, and parking access point is checked against primary sources — operator floor plans and property pages, transit-operator schedules, and the real-world layout of the building — before it ships. When two sources disagree, we defer to the operator, and guides are corrected when a property physically changes.

Why don't Casino Compass guides list parking prices?

Strip pricing changes by day of week, rewards tier, length of stay, and events, so a hard-coded rate is wrong within days. We explain who pays and who parks free and link to the operator's live rate, while committing to the facts that hold still — where the garage is, which walkway connects two properties, and how long the walk takes.

Is Casino Compass free?

Yes. Casino Compass is a free iOS app with no account and no subscription. Maps for 20+ Las Vegas properties work offline once you download them, and the app requires iOS 18.0 or later.

Is Casino Compass affiliated with any casino?

No. Casino Compass, LLC is independent and takes no cut of what you spend inside a casino — which is why its guides can recommend skipping valet, walking the bridge, or leaving the car parked to avoid an exit fee.
