Mandalay Bay Parking: The Garage, the Walk In, and Who Parks Free

The Mandalay Bay parking garage doesn't bring you in by the hotel lobby. It meets the casino at the W Las Vegas end of the resort, by Caramá, and the Mandalay Bay front desk is across the casino. The rideshare pickup catches people out too. It's south of the hotel lobby, down an escalator, at beach level. Mandalay Bay is an MGM Resorts property at 3950 Las Vegas Boulevard South, the southernmost resort on the Strip, and it shares one campus with W Las Vegas and the Four Seasons. Parking follows MGM Resorts' shared policy, so the self-parking rates match Luxor, Excalibur and the other MGM casinos. The layout is what differs. The garage, the front desk, the taxi line and the rideshare pickup are each in a different place.

Where the Mandalay Bay Parking Garage Is

The self-park garage is on the west side of the resort, away from the Strip, off Frank Sinatra Drive, the road that runs behind the south Strip resorts. From Las Vegas Boulevard, Mandalay Bay Road runs west between Mandalay Bay and Luxor to Frank Sinatra Drive. Google Maps lists it as “Mandalay Bay Parking Garage”, so search that name rather than the resort's Strip address.

From the Garage Into Mandalay Bay

The garage meets the casino level by Caramá, at the W Las Vegas end of the resort, next to the W Las Vegas entrance and its own valet. The Shoppes at Mandalay Place, the shops on the walkway to Luxor, are close by. If you're staying at W Las Vegas, the W Welcome Desk is right there. If you're checking in at Mandalay Bay, the front desk is across the casino, on the Mandalay Bay tower side, so expect a walk across the floor with your bags.

Going to a show at Michelob ULTRA Arena? The arena's own directions from the garage: walk straight, turn right at Caramá, walk past Citizens Kitchen + Bar, KUMI and Stripsteak, follow the walkway around past Starbucks, and take the first right down the long hallway to the arena entrance. Mandalay Bay Valet, Rideshare and Taxis

Valet is $40 a day, hotel guests included, and free for MGM Rewards Gold, Platinum and NOIR members, subject to availability. W Las Vegas has its own valet at the W Las Vegas entrance. Electric vehicles charge through Mandalay Bay or W Las Vegas valet only, for $15 on top of the valet fee: once per stay for hotel guests, once per drop-off for everyone else.

Uber and Lyft pickup is south of the hotel lobby, down the escalator, at beach level, for Mandalay Bay and W Las Vegas alike. Don't wait at the front entrance for your ride. Drivers drop you off at the porte cochère at the main drive. Taxis wait at the main entrance, 24 hours a day.

Parking for Allegiant Stadium, the Arena and the Convention Center

Mandalay Bay is the closest Strip resort to Allegiant Stadium. For select stadium events, MGM Resorts sells Reserved Event Parking at Mandalay Bay, W Las Vegas and Excalibur: you buy it before the event starts, it guarantees your space, and it costs less than paying for event parking on site. Each event's fee and arrival and departure times are linked from MGM Resorts' parking page. For a Michelob ULTRA Arena show or an event at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, park in the Mandalay Bay garage or use valet, and expect higher prices during special events. Inside, the Convention Center entrance is by Shark Reef Aquarium.

What Mandalay Bay Parking Costs — and Who Parks Free

Mandalay Bay shares MGM Resorts' posted rates. For visitors who aren't hotel guests, self-parking is $20 Mon–Thu, $25 Fri–Sun for up to 24 hours, priced by the day you arrive, and each extra day adds $20 or $25. Valet is $40 a day. Rates can be higher during special events. Visitors who aren't hotel guests get no in-and-out: the charge applies each time you exit the garage, so a park, leave, and return counts as two transactions.

Registered hotel guests pay too: $20 per 24 hours to self-park, every day of the week (there's no weekend rate for guests), and $40 a day for valet. That includes in-and-out within the same parking type at all MGM Resorts Las Vegas casinos within the same 24 hours, and your room key works until 11:59 pm on check-out day.

MGM Rewards members earn free parking by tier, subject to availability: Pearl, Gold, Platinum and NOIR members get free self-parking, and Gold, Platinum and NOIR members also get free valet. MGM Rewards Mastercard holders self-park free too; Sapphire members pay the posted rate. Nevada residents get the first 3 hours of self-parking free by scanning a valid Nevada driver's license at the exit gate, except during special events or when you pay at a pay-on-foot kiosk.

RVs and oversized vehicles park at Excalibur's oversized lots, not at Mandalay Bay: $50 per 24 hours whatever the length, free for MGM Rewards Pearl, Gold, Platinum and NOIR members (insert your card at the Excalibur lot's exit gate). Hotel guests arrange it through the front desk of the MGM hotel they're staying at.

Practical Tips

Park once for the south Strip. The Shoppes at Mandalay Place walkway takes you indoors to Luxor, and the free tram runs north to Luxor and Excalibur. Excalibur's garage charges the same rates as Mandalay Bay's, so moving the car saves nothing, and a second exit is a second charge.

Book your ride from the right floor. Request the Uber or Lyft once you're down the escalator at beach level, south of the lobby, so the driver isn't waiting while you look for the pickup.

Need a step-free route? The rideshare pickup is down an escalator. If you use a wheelchair or a scooter, or have a stroller, ask the bell desk or any casino host for the elevator route down to beach level before you book the ride.
